Mission

Teton Valley Skijor Corporation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

our team

Neal Stobaugh

Founder & Board President

Neal holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Utah and has a diverse professional background with over 10 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, 20 years in Technical Sales, and 15 years as a Chief Operating Officer. Three years ago, Neal became inspired to get involved in skijoring after watching his daughter, Tayler, fall in love with the sport. This passion for skijoring led him to found the organization, aiming to share the excitement of the sport with others.

Bridget Sweeney

Executive Director

Bridget brings 13 years of experience in Human Resources and project management to the team. She has been involved with the event since its inception in 2023, initially as a board member before transitioning into the ED position. A lifelong skier and horseback rider, Bridget is passionate about how the event unites people who share a love for these two distinct sports.

Betsy Marsh

Board Secretary

Betsy is a marketing professional with a passion for skiing, endurance sports, biking, hiking, fishing, and even bees. She finds joy in exploring the outdoors and expresses her creativity through upcycling and music. She’s inspired by the unique blend of skiing and equestrian culture in skijoring, and is excited to be part of the Grand Showdown. For Betsy, this event is the perfect mix of adventure, timeless fun, and community spirit. She’s thrilled to champion the event in Teton Valley and deliver an unforgettable experience for the community. Saddle up and send it!

Kathy Cisco

Board Treasurer

Kathy moved to Teton Valley in 2009 without knowing a single person. Finding the people, lifestyle, and uniquely western properties here unmatched, she decided to stay and met her husband, Christian, an accomplished downhill racer who introduced her to the sport of skijoring in 2011. Christian participated locally after his brother Aaron had been on the circuit for years, and Kathy has been a fan ever since. She is so happy to be a part of bringing this event back to the valley!

Aaron Cisco

Board Member

Aaron is a father of three girls and a 22-year resident of Teton Valley. A former skijoring competitor based in Jackson Hole, he competed throughout the Intermountain West from 1999 to 2004. Aaron is deeply passionate about the sport of skijoring and its connection to the rich western heritage of the region.

Hunter Hill

Board Member

Hunter, the proud 2017 Miss Rodeo Idaho, hails from Menan, Idaho, where she grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of Jefferson County. A lifelong outdoorswoman, Hunter started riding horses and competing in junior rodeo at a young age. She now calls Teton Valley home, living on a local ranch with her husband, their herd of horses, and three dogs. With extensive experience serving on rodeo committees, including the storied War Bonnet Round Up, and as an advisor for the local rodeo queen committee, Hunter’s passion for volunteering and horsemanship, as well as her strong community focus, make her an invaluable member of the Teton Valley Skijoring team.

Scott Kelley

Board Member

A devoted father to a daughter and son, Scott holds a BS in Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy and is a US Coast Guard-licensed Chief Engineer in the United States Merchant Marine, as well as a licensed private pilot. He owns and operates a custom home and commercial property development, building, and management company, demonstrating his entrepreneurial drive. Scott is also the mastermind behind much of the event logistics, managing equipment with military precision and ensuring every detail is captured on his carefully crafted lists. Outside of work, he’s an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. A trusted mentor, Scott has taught Neal pretty much everything he knows—whether he wanted to or not.

Kelsy Kopak

Board Member

Kelsy brings a wealth of experience in program management and sales enablement, having worked with companies like Microsoft, Samsung, Accenture, Porch, WonderForge, and Teknon. At Microsoft, she spent 7 years as a Program Manager in the Finance Organization, where she led multiple projects and ensured alignment with financial goals. Outside of her professional life, Kelsy and her husband, Justin, love exploring the Pacific Northwest with their two kids, Logan and Ellie, and their dogs, Gimli and Pippin. Whether hiking, skiing, or paddleboarding on alpine lakes, she’s always seeking outdoor adventures, but on rainy days, you’ll find her solving puzzles, playing board games, or working on home projects. Kelsy’s connection to skijoring comes through her sister, a dedicated competitor, and her love for adventure. With family who call Driggs home, Kelsy enjoys the opportunities for exploration the area provides and is excited to give back to the community and make a positive impact through her involvement with the Teton Valley Skijoring team.

Sean Riley

Board Member

A lifelong resident of Teton Valley, Sean was roped into the world of skijoring by his wife, Bridget, who “sacrificed” him to their friends for the snowboarding division. He’s Scott’s right-hand man when it comes to equipment logistics, is the team “builder” of whatever is needed to keep things running smoothly, from ring stands to kids’ games, and is a solid, steady presence when helping horses and riders into the start gate at practices and competitions. When he’s not skijoring, Sean can be found at the gym weightlifting or volunteering at HAPI Trails horse rescue, where he’s known for fixing fence and—perhaps more importantly—feeding carrots to the horses.

Jenny Wade

Board Member

Originally from Memphis, TN, Jenny has always had a deep love for horses, which has shaped her diverse career path—from caring for the Budweiser Clydesdales to studying primate behavior on a Caribbean island and founding a successful animal rescue. With over 25 years of experience in nonprofit work, particularly in donor management and fundraising, Jenny has a proven track record of building strong, supportive communities. Through Teton Valley Skijoring, she focuses on raising awareness for the sport and creating an exciting event that brings the community together while celebrating horsemanship and the spirit of skijoring. When not volunteering, Jenny can be found hitting the trails on her horse, Solo, with her labs, Birdie and Winnie, by her side.
